Phoenix Wright cameo in Ghost Trick cements my pre-order

Recommended Videos

I’ve wanted to play Ghost Trick ever since I read Dale’s TGS:09 preview of the game. I didn’t necessarily want to buy it, but based on its creative team alone, I wanted to at least try it.  All of the Ace Attorney games released so far are good-to-amazing, so it’s hard to imagine that something from the same creative team  could be a true disappointment.

Still, Ace Attorney loyalty wasn’t enough to totally sell me on the game. Ghost Trick is just looks so “different”, and when a game is like nothing you’ve ever played before, it’s hard to know beforehand if it’s worth a +$30 gamble.

Well, this trailer was enough to push me over the edge. As soon as Gamestop lets me, I’ll be putting my five bucks down on Ghost Trick. The above video clearly shows how pretty the game looks and sounds, but it’s the Phoenix Wright cameo at 1:41 that really sealed the deal. Getting Feenie to throw on his old blue suit again is something I just can’t say no to.

I guess that makes me a raging Phoenix Wright fanboy, but I guess there are worse thing I could be.
