The official start date for the 2025 installment of the annual Phasmophobia Easter event, called Cursed Hollow, is April 17. This update was originally slated to be released at 6am CT/12pm UTC since this is when most seasonal updates have been released.

April 17 Update: According to the official Phasmophobia X (formerly Twitter) page, the update was delayed so the team could work on some last-minute fixes. At 10:12am CT, the team posted that the update was officially rolled out to all platforms except Xbox.

When does the Easter 2025 event end in Phasmophobia?

The Cursed Hollow Easter event runs for three weeks, so it will come to an end on May 8. This gives you plenty of time to explore everything it has to offer and collect all of the available rewards.

What is the Easter 2025 event in Phasmophobia?

Phasmophobia’s Cursed Hollow Easter event focuses on tracking down Jackalope Totems scattered around various maps, completing a community goal, finishing personal quests, and discovering Cursed Hollow’s secrets.

Jackalope Totems are the primary gameplay feature included in this event. They’re a bit similar to the totems featured in past events like Winter’s Jest, but they also come with some special gameplay effects. Interacting with them has varying results, and while some can be helpful, others will make your investigation much harder.

The number of events featured in this map is far more than in past events. You can work on event quests across nine maps instead of only a few, so there are plenty of options to choose from.

All of these maps are decorated for the spring season with Jackalope nests and lots of twigs strung around the walls, floors, and ceiling in strange patterns. The featured maps rotate daily, so logging on often is crucial if you want to see and investigate all of them.

The Cursed Hollow event features both community and personal objectives, so it’s a combination of the systems present in past events. Finishing community goals grants points in the larger community reward pool, and working through personal objectives becomes available after the first community task is finished.

While you wait for the Cursed Hollow event to begin, you may want to search for all Cursed Possession locations at Bleasdale Farmhouse, learn how to use the Sound Sensor, and try out all hiding spots at Point Hope.
