How to complete Phasmophobia Alan Wake event
There are four key goals you need to get done to complete the Alan Wake event in Phasmophobia:
- Earn community points.
- Earn personal points.
- Reveal Words of Power.
- Find Dolls and solve Doll Puzzles.
Earn community and personal points in Phasmophobia Alan Wake event
To earn community and personal points in the event, you need to check off event tasks. This includes tackling the two other major event goals, which are revealing Words of Power and finding Dolls to complete Doll puzzles. The main way you earn points, though, is by using the Angel Lamp to get rid of shadow figures around each event map.

The Angel Lamp can be found sitting on the dashboard by the screens in the van. You can carry this item around with you while exploring, then hold down the Use button whenever you get close to a shadow figure to banish them.
Reveal Words of Power in Phasmophobia Alan Wake event
The second goal featured in this event is to reveal Words of Power. You can complete this task by using a UV Light to follow hidden yellow arrows around each event map to reveal circular formations of words. Upon shining your UV Light at a Words of Power circle, the letters will scatter, thus gaining you some precious event points.
Find Dolls and solve Doll Puzzles in the Phasmophobia Alan Wake event
The last main goal in this event is to find Dolls and solve Doll Puzzles. Each map has a collection of small hidden Dolls you need to find and pick up. Coffee World, Oh Deer Diner, and Cauldron Lake all have three waiting to be found, while Elderwood Palace Lodge has four.
The first step in this process is to track down all the Dolls present at each location. This may take you a bit, as they’re incredibly small and quite easy to overlook. As you find these Dolls, they’ll be added to the ground in front of Alan Wake’s desk in the lobby.
In the center of the area where the Dolls spawn, there’s a piece of paper that features a riddle. This riddle tells you which Dolls you need for the first puzzle, and which drawings they need to be placed on. There are three puzzles to complete here, with the paper that has the riddle on it changing each time you finish one. Before you attempt these puzzles, make sure you collect all 13 Dolls, as you’ll need them here.
- For the first Doll Puzzle, you need the moose and the deer.
- For the second Doll Puzzle, you need the child, the man with a baby, and the old man.
- For the third Doll Puzzle, you need the child, the woman with a cape, the man with a baby, and the jester.
