Peter Moore unloads on Sony one last time before leaving Microsoft for EA

In the typical pimp fashion that we’ve all come to expect from him, Peter Moore couldn’t help but volley on last criticism Sony’s way, while getting things ready for his new home at Electronic Arts. During an interview with MCV, Moore killed two birds with one stone with but a few statements. First up was Sony:

“They need to find a way to get to $399 and then see what happens. I’m not sure the 80GB model is going to have a profound effect. I’m also not sure what they’re going to do with all that extra space. I was expecting an announcement of a full video download service, but it just isn’t there.”

Don’t think for an instant that Moore has forgotten about that seemingly unstoppable money-maker of a box from the other guys:

Nintendo deserves more respect. Maybe they’re still a bit weak on third parties – their record has never been great in that area – but they’re doing something about that and looking to address it.

I would be lying, if I said that I’m not amused by Peter Moore’s tenacity, but I wonder how the suits at EA feel about one of their newly appointed employees jeering a company they make quite a few games for? Never mind, it’s Peter Moore we’re talking about here. We wouldn’t accept less from a guy like him.
