Persona 5 won’t have dual audio in the west, just English

Here’s one sample of the voice cast

Now that Persona 5 is front and center at E3 and not behind closed doors in Japan, we’re starting to get more information on the localization. Some of you may want to sit down first. Ready? Persona 5 won’t have dual audio! Just English.

I know that upsets some of you out there (I like both), but I feel like the English voice casts for the Persona games have been pretty great so far. That includes this small clip below from Cassandra Lee Morris, who is playing Morgana the cat.

It’s interesting to see how different groups of people react to seeing just one audio track in a game (whether it’s Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE‘s Japanese-only or what have you), but I have a feeling that most people who really want to see the other side will just import come September 15, when it’s released in Japan.

It’s still set for February 14, 2017 in the US.
