Persona Team head Katsura Hashino is always quick to thank the fans patiently waiting for Persona 5. We got our first trailer this weekend, though it’s all anime scenes, nothing in-game. Hashino posted a message on the Persona blog, translated by Siliconera.

I apologize for only being able to show so little, but it would make me happy to know that you all have been able to get a glimpse of the game’s atmosphere,” which includes a new setting, “reversed from the previous title, as the title will depict the lives of youths living in a setting of a big city.”

Hashino confirmed the PS4 and PS3 releases would be simultaneous in 2015. The rest of the message is a mix of thanks to fans, amazement over how big Persona has gotten (including side projects like the anime). and talk about working again with character designer Shigenori Soejima and composer Shoji Meguro.
