PC release of Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition pushed back

The PC version of Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition was scheduled to release next Tuesday, but it has now been pushed back — quite a bit back, actually — to make sure all of the pieces are in place at launch. The new date is going to be November 30, 2012.

Overhaul Games president Trent Oster broke the news in a forum post. “After recently reviewing the game and then consulting with our partners,” he writes, “we’ve decided to ensure that Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition is the best possible product on launch. Thus, we have pushed back the release date of the game.”

For those of you who pre-ordered the game, know that Overhaul “will be working on something a little extra” to make up for the delay.
