Path of Exile to be supported for ‘5 to 10 years’

Version 1.0 is about six months away

Joystiq recently spoke with Chris Wilson, co-founder of the Path of Exile development team Grinding Gear Games, and got some great news for fans of the game. While the free-to-play ARPG has been in an open beta state since January, the official “release” is six months away. The Path of Exile developers have really been working hard, pumping out weekly patches to squash bugs and improve performance.

Perhaps the best news is that Grinding Gear Games plans to keep supporting Path of Exile with expansions “over the next five to ten years,” adding content like brand new acts. Grinding Gears seem to be on the right track in terms of customer service, since they really seem to listen to the community and obviously have a passion for working on Path of Exile

I have previously written for AbleGamers.com and continue to support them whenever possible (like HumbleBundle).
