Path of Exile announces its first Race Season

Complete with awesome prizes

I am thoroughly enjoying my time with Path of Exile‘s open beta, more than I ever thought I would. It’s just so finely crafted with a strong love for the genre that I can’t help but feel endeared. Races are one of the many unique systems at play, allowing players to compete against each other with certain conditions at specific times.

The schedule for the first season of races has just been announced, as well as the swanky prizes for competing. Races use a fresh economy to test a player’s skill, usually seeing who can level up the highest and fastest. Though I doubt I can compete with any of the pros, I’m definitely going to give some of these events a shot. I really want those Facebreaker gloves to use in my future unarmed build.

During the day, he teaches high school kids about history. At night he kicks their butts in competitive games like Rocket League, Dota 2, Overwatch, and Counter-Strike. Disclosure: I've personally backed Double Fine Adventure, Wasteland 2, Dead State, SPORTSFRIENDS, Torment: Tides of Numera, STRAFE, and The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls. I have previously written for AbleGamers.com and continue to support them whenever possible (like HumbleBundle).
