Panasonic cancels Jungle after five months

Panasonic has announced that its handheld MMO console, the Jungle, has been canceled after only being announce five months ago.

The company has not given a detailed reason for the system’s premature death, but the fact that it was “f*cking stupid” is a rather good unofficial cause, I reckon. I mean, seriously … it was like a Super N-Gage or something.

“Panasonic decided to suspend further development due to changes in the market and in our own strategic direction,” is all the company would say.

In any case, the Jungle is no more. Let us mourn the loss of a thing we never had and never wanted.
