Palworld: How to get Lily’s Spear

One or two, that's up to you

There’s one weapon in Palworld that is locked behind Ancient Technology Points. It’s a replica of the spear used by Lily in the second Tower Boss Duo fight and while it’s not quite as powerful as the plethora of ranged weapons available, it has additional benefits.

Not only is Lily’s Spear the second-highest damage melee weapon in the game, beaten only by the Sword, but players have discovered that it can save room in their inventories. This is especially true when leaving the sanctity of their base to find resources, such as Coal or Sulfur.

While it is more efficient to use a Refined Metal Axe or Pickaxe, that does require you to carry them around with you in case you need them. Whereas Lily’s Spear not only does the job on par with Metal tools, it also offers the advantage of being a solid melee weapon choice, offering a damage stat of 450 and a durability of 500, while only weighing 10.

There is a downside to using Lily’s Spear to weather resources, though; while it does the job fairly efficiently, you will be forced to repair and the repair costs for the Spear are pretty hefty. You’ll need to use more Refined Ingots and Ancient Technology Parts.

Before you can get Lily’s Spear, you’ll need to reach level 40 in order to unlock it using three Ancient Technology Points, which can be gained by defeating Alpha Pals or Tower Boss Duos.

You’ll also need to unlock and build either the Weapon Assembly Line I or II, because the Spear cannot be crafted at a regular Weapons Workbench.

In order to craft Lily’s Spear, you’ll need the following materials:

  • 50 Wood
  • 30 Refined Ingots
  • 20 Paldium Fragments
  • 20 High Quality Cloth
  • 20 Ancient Civilization Parts
