Palworld‘s next major update, Home Sweet Home, is coming soon to PC and console, and it could be an interesting time for us to revisit the game.
This is the first major update since the Tides of Terraria expansion that we received in June. If you’re new, it’s safe to assume that there will be plenty of new content. Pocketpair has already showcased some of it to us as part of the trailer in November.

Palworld Home Sweet Home release countdown
Palworld’s Home Sweet Home update will be going live on all platforms on Dec. 17. We have known this date since the trailer was launched back in November. It’s unlikely that there will be any change to the schedule now, with only a few more hours to go.
The countdown below will expire once the update goes live.
The countdown is based on the following times.
- PT: 8:30pm on Dec. 16
- CT: 10:30pm on Dec. 16
- ET: 11:30pm on Dec. 16
- BST: 5am on Dec. 17
- CEST: 6am on Dec. 17
This is the typical schedule that the developers follow for all major Palworld updates. The exact schedule was followed last time during the launch of the Tides of Terraria update. Most of the regions will have the update live on Dec. 17, while it will be Dec. 16 if you’re in the US.
Home Sweet Home is an official collab with ULTRAKILL, introducing new elements never seen before in Palworld. You’ll be able to apply brand new armor parts and use a new weapon directly influenced by the content of ULTRAKILL. However, Pocketpair hasn’t shown all the new content to us as of writing. Hence, it will be fun to explore Palpagos Islands and find all the secrets in the new update.
