Aegidron is one of the new Pals in Palworld 1.0, and it’s arguably one of the strongest. This Alpha boss is a big threat to deal with and will truly test your endgame builds. Naturally, you can also add it to your team, which is the ultimate goal here.
Let’s explore how to find and capture Aegidron in Palworld.

Aegidron location in Palworld

Aegidron is an alpha boss with a fixed location, and you’ll never find it randomly roaming in the wild. To find the Aegidron, refer to the image above. This location is to the left of the large door in the World Tree that you have to open.
Drop off the cliff and go near the body of water to find Aegidron. Once you’re close enough, a boss fight will start automatically. First, chip away its health so that it raises the chance for you to catch it.
Try to bring Pals that are Leaf and/or Ice types. Aegidron is susceptible to both, and it will be easier to take it down. Once done, use your Sol Sphere to capture it.

Once done, you can also breed the Aegidron. Here are all the known combos to use.
- Aegidron and Bastigor
- Neptilius and Bastigor
- Blazamut Ryu and Bastigor
- Pathantalus and Jetdragon
- Neptilius and Jetdragon
Breeding Aegidron with Lyleen Noct should also work, but it’s yet to be verified.
Aegidron skills in Palworld
The Aegidron has an overpowered partner skill—Indestructible Fortress, which reduces damage taken by your team. If it’s in your party, all other Pals will get 60% less damage from explosions, and they’re immune to Stun. Aegidron also has boosted Defense and immunity from Knockdowns, making it a great defensive option.
Here’s a list of all its active skills and their unlock levels.
- Level 1: Stone Blast
- Level 7: Blast Cannon
- Level 15: Rockburst
- Level 22: Charge Cannon
- Level 30: Sand Twister
- Level 40: Rocky Impact
- Level 50: Dragon Meteor
- Level 70: Missile Burst
Best Aegidron build in Palworld

Aegidron is one of the most useful Pals to have at your base. It has level 8 Mining for starters, so you can use it for mining various nodes. However, I have been using it in my party due to its partner skill. The amount of protection it provides to your full party is immense.
Here’s what I am using in terms of its active skills.
- Missile Burst
- Dragon Meteor
- Rocky Impact
You’ll need to reach at least Level 70 with your Aegidron to unlock all three moves, but it’s worth it. Heavyweight is the best passive skill to have, but you can also get luck with one of the new ones if you managed to get a Mutation.
