Hi-Rez Studios announced that its team based shooter, Paladins, will be getting a new “battle royale” mode called Paladins: Battlegrounds. Lack of originality aside, this new 100 man free-for-all will be the first “battle royale” to feature hero powers, which could make for an interesting twist on the sub-genre.

As with everything else in the game, this mode will be a free addition that is supported by microtransactions. If you actually dig Paladins and have wanted to check out PUBG or Fortnite, now you have the perfect opportunity to jump back in.
