According to Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter, Visceral’s unannounced game — which we’ve known to be The Ripper — is an Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network downloadable title.

Although it hasn’t been officially revealed, between trademarks and our own “wish to remain anonymous” sources, we already know quite a bit about The Ripper. From what we’re told, the game will be an action title that will paint the legendary real-life serial Jack the Ripper in a whole new light — as a good guy. Sources have indicated that Jack would be hunting and slicing demons with wild, over-the-top weapons. (See, he was doing a service by killing prostitutes and removing their organs… they were monsters and/or vampires all along!)

Considering EA and Visceral haven’t officially revealed the game, we can’t imagine they’re too happy Pachter decided to spill the beans on this one. But maybe it’ll force some hands, and we’ll get some official information soon.
