This past weekend, Overkill Software held a livestream reveal event for its long coming Walking Dead game. The game will follow the template of previous Overkill games, PAYDAY, and be a four player cooperative shooter. You’ll obviously be facing off against zombies instead of police and the game takes place in a post apocalyptic Washing D.C.

Taking a cue from Borderlands, there will be four selectable characters with different skill trees and abilities to use. The first character, Aidan, was given a cinematic trailer that barely shows off anything about him. If nothing else, it does give us a glimpse of how D.C. might look in the final version.

The game is still heading to PC, PS4 and Xbox One and is targeting a release for late 2018. You can sign-up for updates from the official website, if you so choose.
