Company will match money raised by developers
[Note: I absolutely totally bollocks’d up the original story on this, saying Ouya itself was launching a new Kickstarter project, when instead it was matching the money made by other Kickstarter projects. No excuse. Utter nincompoopery on my part. I apologize for my total lack of reading comprehension in this instance.

The Ouya team has announced a Kickstarter matching scheme for its mildly acclaimed Android console. The new funding effort will launch in August, and this time, Ouya plans to give something back.
The company is offering to match the amount of money any successful Kickstarter game project makes (if it gets between $50,000 and $250,000), with a $100,000 bonus to the studio netting the highest. The condition is, however, that any games made using the money must be Ouya-exclusive for six months.
This new move seems like a real acknowledgement of one of the system’s biggest current drawbacks — the lack of compelling exclusive content. Most of Ouya’s best games are available on systems most users will likely already own, and there’s a good chance those games will run better on such devices. Ouya clearly knows it needs to fix this, but whether it can by now is up in the air.
