When our readers want something, they let us know about it. I’ve been hit up on Twitter, Formspring, Facebook and in multiple comments on this fair site. There are angry posts in reviews of other games, as if we’ve been deliberately ignoring it, but don’t worry — the Dragon Age 2 review is going to appear.
Here’s the deal — the review will be written by Joseph Leray. He did not receive a review copy of the game until launch day, and because he also goes to school (not every writer here earns $100,000,000 an hour), it’s been a slow thing. Ideally we’d have loved to have gotten the game sooner so the review would be up by now, but that hasn’t happened.
The choice for reviewer was between Joseph and myself. Since Leray actually really likes the series and I can barely muster the energy to care after the last review, our choice was clear. Leray is playing it whenever he can, seems to be digging it, and will have the review as soon as logistically possible.
It’s cool that our audience cares that much about what we have to say about games, I must add. Rest assured though, we’ve not forgotten the game, and the review will come.
