Original Sound Version picks the best soundtracks of 2010

Recommended Videos

Our friends at Original Sound Version have posted their Original Soundtrack of the Year awards. Those in the market for some smooth tunes, take note — you’ll want to dig out your headphones in a second.

The site covered not just videogames for its honors, but anime, chiptunes, and remixes as well. If, like me, you miss out on most Japanese role-playing games, your ears are in for a treat. It’s been a good year for music across all of the aforementioned disciplines.

As a lover of indie, props must be given for OSV’s Best Indie Game Soundtrack selection, Tower of Heaven. Absolutely nailed it, in my opinion. Be sure to read up on the full choices, and if you’re dying for even more brilliant tracks, look no further. (Seriously, bookmark this link.)
