The first Shin Megami Tensei is being translated to English for the first time next month. You’ll be able to pick it up from the iTunes Store on March 18 for $8. Not bad. Too bad (for me) it’s coming “exclusively to the App Store.” Unless it’s a timed exclusive. An Android release would have been nice. The trailer got me excited.
Oh well. At least SMTIOS is a fun acronym.
SMT is steeped in shady global conflict, complex story-telling, and demon business that would go on to birth Devil Survivor, Devil Summoner and Persona. I’d like to play the game that started the series and its spinoffs.
