Only two weeks after the game’s release, the first user-created content for Unreal Tournament 3 for the PlayStation 3 has hit the Internet. By way of FileFront, users can now download the map, “DM-Shrine,” created by an English 23-year-old graphic designer, Thomas Browett. The small, close-quarters combat map is designed for deathmatch with up to six players
Installation looks like it should be a snap — simply unzip the map file to the root directory of any memory card that is readable by the PS3 (a USB stick should do the trick). Next, boot up the game and navigate to the “Community” menu, where you’ll choose “My Content.” Pressing square will begin the content import process.
I’m out of town, and don’t have access to my PlayStation 3 until tomorrow. Would someone kindly head over to FileFront and tell us if installation is as easy as it sounds? Thanks, you guys are dolls.
