What to expect from Onimusha: Way of the Sword
Onimusha: Way of the Sword puts you in the shoes of Miyamoto Musashi, an ardent samurai who arrives in Kyoto looking to prove that he is the true master of the sword. The path that lies before him is filled with danger and unexpected enemies.
With the help of your Oni Gauntlet, you have been granted the power beyond human limits. You have superhuman strength and other abilities that can slash through a wave of enemies in only a few seconds. How you wield your powers depends on your skills.
At the forefront lies the Genma. Typically, these creatures would inhabit the depths of hell, but the malice enveloping Kyoto has brought them on your path. It’s now upon you to slash through all these enemies to rid Kyoto of the plague that has trapped it from all sides.
While Onimusha: Way of the Sword is available for pre-order, you can check out the demo on Steam to find out if the gameplay suits your tastes.
