One-touch Shoryuken on 3DS Super Street Fighter IV

Recommended Videos

I remember being younger and never being able to pull off a Shoryuken. I remember thinking that the in-between down/down-forward was bullsh*t and that Capcom and the entire world was playing a joke on me. When I finally figured it out I had the hardest time being second player and pulling one off from the other direction. D’oh! I always had to be Player 1.

When I was finally good at it some years (years!) later, I remember my sister yelling at me from the other room: “Aroookick! Aroooookick! It’s always Aroooookick!”

What a dumbass. She’s not even saying it right.

Even I can pull off a million Shoryuken in a row [they’re like free throws!] in the upcoming 3DS version of Super Street Fighter IV. Why? Because they’re one-touch if you set them that way, says Joystiq. The game’s Japanese website’s system page lays out the touchscreen implementation, and there you’ll see that you can assign up to four moves to screen zones for one-touch action. I can spam moves like I’ve always dreamed now! I wonder what my sister would say now.
