One Piece: World Seeker is getting a massive update soon, includes photo mode

Welcome to the rest of the open world market

One Piece: World Seeker arrived several weeks ago, and while it didn’t completely change the game, it semi-delivered on its promise of an open world One Piece experience.

Flaws in tow, Bandai Namco is building on that foundation with a free update this month, which is headlined by the all-encompassing photo mode (you can check out some of the cute filters in the tweet below). It’ll also sport more endgame content and costumes. Hopefully these sorts of patches keep coming and address some of the game’s aesthetic and functional issues in the process.

As far as paid DLC goes, that’ll run throughout the entire year (you can always count on Bandai Namco to have a long premium add-on plan). Three pieces are coming as part of the season pass and we’ll learn more about those in the future.
