OMG, it’s Slayer Pinball for Apple’s iThings… look!

Yesterday, Slayer Pinball Rocks HD hit the App Store. It’s exactly what it sounds like: a pinball game with a Slayer-themed table, featuring the music of Slayer.

More specifically, it features music from the band’s latest album World Painted Blood. Slayer’s Tom Araya will also yell at you, growling things like “balls of steel” as you begin your game and “neutralized” when you lose a ball. I’m told the game also features rhythm mini-games, but I’m really, really awful at pinball, and haven’t seen them yet. I have, however, seen the “Melting Flesh” ramp, which makes this game a keeper.

It’s available now for $2.99 and it’s for iPad, iPod Touch, and iPhone. The game is “HD,” which means you buy it once, you get it for all platforms and it’ll look pretty on your iPad. Check the video above to see the game in action, and just how bad I am at pinball. (Hint: Really bad.)
