Um … COOL. That is all I can say about these Okami-themed Vans, which are the latest project from the fine peeps over at Kyozo Kicks. Not only are the shoes beyond awesome, but I really like the sentiments in the artist’s mind when he creates them. From his blog:
My work with shoes and video games I have come to realize is my way of saying thank you to the people behind those games. Thank you for being bold with your ideas, for breaking the mold and for making video games genuinely funny. I can say without fail that next year we will have a better Call Of Duty, a better looking Fifa/Madden and a faster Need for Speed – But we may never surpass the brilliance of the original Okami.
