Oh, the humanity! Samurai Shodown II on XBLA is actually 800 MS Points, not 400

Remember back on Monday when I told you about how Samurai Shodown II would hit Xbox LIVE Arcade (today) for the seemingly awesome price of 400 Microsoft Points? Yeah, well apparently the XBLA press release for this week contained faulty information.

This post shouldn’t come as much of a surprise if you have already downloaded the demo off of Xbox LIVE, but I didn’t want you to think your pals at Destructoid were to blame for the pricing error.

In retrospect, it does make sense that Microsoft would want to charge $10 for Samurai Shodown II, given that its Wii counterpart is $9 and doesn’t feature online versus.

Still, it would have been greatly appreciated to see this gem of a game go for such a low fee. Or, at the very least, they could have, y’know, not gotten our hopes up.
