Oh hey, Grey Hulk is in Marvel’s Avengers

There will come a time when we’re totally inundated with character skins in Marvel’s Avengers, but right now – more than half a year away from the game’s launch – I’m willing to see what’s what. Crystal Dynamics and Marvel showed another alternate outfit today, this time for Hulk. He cleans up well!

As all the comic-knowers in the audience will tell you, this look draws from Bruce Banner’s “alter-alter ego,” Joe Fixit. Not every outfit can be earned strictly through gameplay, but this one made the list.

Will it be jarring – maybe even a little wonky – seeing Joe Fixit rampage through realistic-looking environments? Probably! That may be a turn-off for some, but I want this game to have a silly side.
