Remember the early-2000s-as-hell ‘Touching is Good’ slogan?
Coinciding with the new Brain Age, Nintendo will sell a standalone Nintendo Switch stylus.
We caught a glimpse of the accessory in the game’s first trailer, and now we have a few more details to go on. As spotted in a store listing on Nintendo’s Japanese site, the official Switch stylus will arrive on December 27 in Japan (the same day as Brain Age) and cost 864 yen at the My Nintendo Store.
I couldn’t tell you the last time I used my Switch’s touch screen (reminder: we didn’t get the Super Mario Maker 2 stylus here in the United States), but I occasionally think about how cool it would be to see revivals of certain touch-centric Nintendo DS titles on the Switch. Remember Art Style: PiCTOBiTS?
Brain Age never stuck with me in a meaningful way, but there are loads of quirky DS games that deserve another chance in the spotlight. I can’t go the rest of my life without another Elite Beat Agents.
