NYCC: New Capcom Arcade Classics coming to Wii in 2011

Recommended Videos

There’s new Capcom Arcade Classics coming our way, which is always good news in my book. I have and treasure some of the Japan-only, multi-disc Sega Saturn Capcom classics set (they also released these for the PlayStation), but these new classics releases are even handier as they’ll be Wii Virtual Arcade games. This means I can use a wireless controller and see them in a less blurry fashion.

A small sign on the New York Comic-Con show floor says that these classics are coming in 2011:

  • Son Son
  • Exed Exes [say that three times fast!]
  • Wolf of the Battlefield: COMMANDO
  • 1942
  • Ghosts ‘n Goblins
  • Black Dragon

I saw that Son Son was playable on the floor but I couldn’t make my way over to it. Capcom’s booth is really crowded. I’ll try again today.

What other arcade classics could Capcom be forgetting?
