NY Comic Con: Developer walkthrough of The Darkness

Just in case you lovely readers have a problem with formulating words into pretty pictures in your mind, here are a few videos with one of the developers running through the game. The videos show how people will be using the Darkness powers and gives us what the basic plot line is in the game.

One of the more interesting aspects of the game is going to be the in game TV programs you can watch. Yes, it sounds gimmicky and will have no effect on the main game. But I think it’s a interesting idea. As the last video after the jump shows, you’re going to be able to watch full length TV shows and movies.

When Nick Brutal interviewed the team, they said there won’t be a major difference  between the Xbox 360 and the PS3 versions of the game. They were only talking game play wise though. The PS3 version is packed with a lot more TV programming than the 360 version. As of right now, the PS3 version has fifteen full length movies, ten cartoon shows and twenty music videos you can watch at any time in the game when there is a TV around.

I have been very excited about this game for a long time now and can’t wait to  to command a Darkling to jackhammer a guys face in!
