Now that the Animal Crossing Switch is in the mix, there’s 289 possible color options for Joy-Con

There has to be someone in the world who will own them all, right?

In case you missed it, there’s a new Animal Crossing Switch. Not a Switch Lite! In other words: you can snap off those Joy-Con and mix and match to your heart’s content to create new color combos. And man, are there a lot.

Reddit user Link2Sora did the math, it’s 289 combinations. Yikes! Given that Joy-Con are still really expensive ($80 MSRP with the chance they’ll drift is too rich for my blood to just collect them) it’ll be really tough to collect them all, especially since some of them are linked to hardware bundles or limited-time sales.

But you know what? There has to be someone who has everything. I refuse to believe that someone can beat Dark Souls with a banana (the new “we can put a man on the moon” for our generation) and there’s not one person out there willing to buy every Joy-Con.

Maybe The Last Gamer? If you haven’t watched the two hour walkthrough of his gaming museum yet, it’s a great way to spend some free time this weekend.
