Forget whether or not videogames are art. A wave of acceptance is sure to wash over the world when more people realize they can be used for war.

When you’re in a tank, you can’t see much, what with the thick armor attempting to save your life. With four simple external cameras routing images back to a PC and through the Oculus Rift, you get a game-like, three dimensional view of your surroundings, letting you duck inside the tank when you’re being shot at and the like without sacrificing visibility.

Check out the video here. It’s all still being tested, using an ordinary Rift and four consumer level cameras and a consumer level PC. Not going military grade saves hundreds of thousands of dollars in this instance.
