I will never forget heading to GameStop to pick up my day one Vita with that beautiful OLED screen.

There was no one else there, no doubt scared off by the high price tag of the proprietary memory cards. It was a stupid mistake and that hubris cost Sony dearly, as nearly every developer outside of Atlus and several others killed their support for it. No, there weren’t a whole lot of games for the floundering system in 2016, but those that did see the light of day were pretty amazing indeed.
