Nathan Drake’s voice actor, Nolan North, reckons we don’t want to see an Uncharted movie.

In an interview with GamesNewsOfficial, North said that fans are so invested with the Drake we know and love (and lust after – although that might just be me), “no matter who’s the star of it,” we just don’t want a movie.

“I think the emotional investment people have with Nathan Drake is so high that it would be very difficult for them to accept somebody else,” said North.

“Even me – my face as Nathan Drake. They might recognise the voice but I don’t even know if they’d accept me.”

Sony once again pushed back the release of the Uncharted movie, this time until June 2017.

We’ve been talking about the film since the dawn of man (well, 2009), but Sony insists the film is still on the table, despite the recent departure of director Seth Gordon.

“Fans don’t want an Uncharted movie,” says Nolan North [VG24/7]
