Nodame Cantibile: Dream Orchestra showcases Wii conducting in action

Recommended Videos

You may remember reading about the upcoming musical title Symphonic Orchestra for the Wii a few days ago. This video gives us a lot more information about a similiar title, Nodame Cantibile: Dream Orchestra, which allows you to play a variety of instruments using your Wii controller to act out the motions, including the oboe, flute, timpani, piano and more.

Before you get excited about having all of your friends over to stage a symphony in your living room, allow me to be the bearer of bad tidings: this sucker is region locked and only being released in Japan. Surprise, right? It looks like the kind of thing that the Japanese scream unintelligible exclamations over.

I think it could be a lot of fun for American audiences as well though, so let’s hope we get to see something so innovative on US shores, whether it’s Nodame Cantibile or something equally unique.
