No, seriously: WiiWare game called Let’s Catch

Recommended Videos

Just when you thought you’ve seen it all, along comes a Wii game where you play catch.

No, actually, judging from this video, Sega/Prope’s Let’s Catch looks like fun. At first, the video (above) starts out slow. I almost wanted to cry with the pretty acoustic guitar music and the boredom. But then they’re playing catch on the moon? With an alien?

The minigames look like fun, too. You can use your Miis, but they look crappy compared to their built-in counterparts. There’s a speed catching game. Apparently aliens can throw 350 km/h fastballs. I’ll pass on the “knock out the numbers” game, but I think the four-player hot-potato-ish “throw the bomb” game could be fun at parties.

This WiiWare title will be released in Japan on December 16th, and will cost 1,000 Wii Points.
