Maybe. It seemed like this hard-to-kill topic continuously came up until 2K officially killed it. Now it may be true for BioShock’s sequel.
A recent job advertisement from 2K Marin asks for a senior designer on BioShock 2, and they specifically request Playstation3 experience in the listed requirements.
Experience working with recent generation game console technology (Xbox, Xbox360, PlayStation2 or PlayStation3) and Playstation3 experience is required.
We’ll agree with Videogamer that this job ad is far from a BioShock 2 PS3 confirmation, but it definitely lets us know what the company is considering.
And, while we’re drawing conclusions, the same ad requests “Unreal Engine 3 experience.” Hmmm.
