Check out Gamasutra’s worldwide top five sales (from Amazon in each territory) lists and you’ll see that Marvelous’ No More Heroes: Eiyuutachi no Rakuen or No More Heroes HD did pretty well in Japan.
For the Xbox 360, NHM HD is actually the best-selling game, beating out Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2! Well, I guess that’s not that surprising for Japan. And on the PS3, it still placed in the top five at #4, right below Koei’s Hokuto Musou (of course), God of War III and the delicious Ryu ga Gotoku 4.
I don’t know about you, but I think that this is a very nice showing for Marvelous. I personally didn’t expect for it to be a chart topper.
