Nintendo’s Wii Remote Plus releasing November 11th

Nintendo has announced a release date for their updated version of the Wii Remote controller with integrated MotionPlus. The product we all expected to have when the Wii launched back in 2006 will be hitting store shelves on November 11th in Japan.

We don’t know yet if that date indicates a global launch or if Japan is the only place you’ll be able to get your hands on the controller for a while after release. I can’t imagine Big N would waste a whole lot of time getting it out in North America and Europe with the holiday season and its sweet, sweet sales revenue. Hopefully we’ll hear more info from Nintendo of America toot sweet.
