According to Nintendo’s president Satoru Iwata, the laughable 512 megs of internal storage on the Wii only seems to be a concern for a ‘”small number” of customers. This is what he told investors recently, before hinting at a possible solution in the future, if only to appease “the most avid players.” (Also known as “no longer their target audience” or “an afterthought.”)

“We have to review the best possible solution to eliminate their inconvenience,” he said, possibly forgetting that the Wii has both a USB port and a slot for an SD card.

Look, with WiiWare set to launch worldwide — and the already successful Virtual Console — it’s unbelievable that a “solution” hasn’t been introduced already. Honestly, I’ve downloaded a handful of Virtual Console games and have a number of saved games on my console, and I don’t know for sure whether or not space is running low. Sorry, I don’t speak magical fairy “blocks.”

Has anyone here actually had an issue where they had to delete something off of their Wii’s internal memory to make room?
