The Nintendo World Store in New York City shut its doors yesterday, but it’s only temporary. Nintendo is currently in the process of giving the store a full facelift, and will re-open on November 1.Â
It sounds like a pretty meaty makeover, too. The “Nintendo Showcase,” which features rare and old-school Nintendo products, will be nearly doubled in size. Additionally, the new store will get new floors, new lighting, new interactive kiosks for the Nintendo DSi and DSi XL, along with fancy new store graphics.Â
The store, located in Rockefeller Plaza, will hold a grand re-opening celebration on November 7. Tip: dress in your best Wario costume and cause a scene. They’ll love it!
