Nintendo Switch is getting an official SNES controller for $30

Shipping on September 18, 2019

Later this month, Nintendo will begin selling a Super Nintendo controller for Nintendo Switch to help us make the most of the newly-added SNES games arriving for Nintendo Switch Online members soon. The gamepads have ZL and ZR buttons up top and USB charging “just like the Pro Controller.”

Not too surprisingly, Nintendo will only offer the wireless SNES controllers to Switch Online subscribers – and there’s a limit in place of “four purchases per Nintendo Account.” They’re a reasonable impulse buy at $30 a pop, and shipping will begin soon enough on September 18, 2019.

I can’t not get one, folks. I can’t!
