This Summer, Nintendo launch a huge expansion for their popular arena-shooter Splatoon 2. Alongside a slew of new gear, music, maps and the like, the colourful title will receive a single player story mode of sorts, which Nintendo have previewed in a new video.

It’s pretty short, to be fair, but we at least get an idea of what the single-player content will entail, as players guide the amnesiac Agent 8 through a hazardous environment, helped out by her pal Cap’n Cuttlefish, and music superstars Off the Hook.

Players will be able to take Agent 8 on 80 new missions, with the grand prize being the ability to play as an Octoling in the game’s multiplayer. Splatoon 2 is going through something of a transformative process at the moment, having already received changes last week as part of the game’s Version 3.0 update, it certainly looks like Nintendo have a lot of faith in the game and its future.
