Nintendo might have more up their sleeve than just Labo

When it comes to peripherals

Nintendo’s Labo is coming whether you like it or not, and people are pretty damn excited for this cardboard. Naturally, there’s probably going to be more on the way, or at least more stuff that could never see the light of day, like many of Nintendo’s pet projects.

It’s a blink and you’ll miss it moment, but Takashi Mochizuki of the Wall Street Journal is reporting that Nintendo is working on “new peripheral hardware devices for the Switch.” The comment was provided “without elaboration,” but could either involved more Labo products beyond the initial line, or more concepts in general.

Whatever these mystery items might be, the future of the Switch is bright. Nintendo just eclipsed the lifetime sales of the Wii U in under a year. Way under a year, actually.
