Nintendo told IGN that it will no longer produce the NES Classic Edtion for North America, with the final shipments this month. Nintendo then apologized for it being hard to obtain, but that it wasn’t meant to be an “ongoing, long-term product.” The cancellation extends to the classic controller, but no word was given on the continuation of the NES Classic worldwide.
