Although I still don’t have one

Nintendo has sold over 10m Wii U consoles since its launch in November 2012.

In today’s financial report, Nintendo confirmed that while the 470,000 unit sales in April-June 2015 were lower than anticipated, it still (just about) pushed sales over 10 million.

The US has been the biggest Wii U adopter, with 4.85m sales in the Americas versus 2.48m in Japan.

The rest of the world — which includes Europe — contribute 2.68m sales to the total.

We still don’t know much (read: anything) about the NX, though, besides reports that we may expect the new console as early as 2016.
