Nintendo’s latest financial report painted a rosy picture for the company as it boasted about its record selling games and its flagship hardware. Things are going good, so good in fact, that in its policy briefing today, Nintendo announced it currently has “no plans to launch a new Nintendo Switch model in 2020.”

Looks like we’ll have to learn to live with the standard Switch and Switch Lite models for now. Hopefully, we’ll see more of those sweet special edition units, like this lovely looking Animal Crossing unit that was also announced today.
