My theory that Nintendo R&D opens up random pages of the dictionary to come up with product ideas is starting to sound more and more likely.
Siliconera unearthed a slew of DS- and DSi-related trademarks, just made publicly available on the Japanese trademark database early today. Among them are things like “DSiMovie,” “DSArcade,” and “DSTime.” The list goes on, and you can have your puny-human mind blown after the jump.
As Siliconera points out, most of these are likely to be protective trademarks, most likely never to amount to actual services. But if they do, perhaps when we look to Google for clues into where Skynet will emerge, we may be a little off base.
