I haven’t been following DSiWare that closely. Occasionally I’ll stick my head up to see if Shantae has come out yet, or if there is a new Art Style game in the horizon. If not, I put my head back down on my desk and go right back to sleep.

While I was sleeping, it looks like 3rd party devs have been working hard to replicate the deluge of shovelware that WiiWare and Wii retail has recieved over the past three years. Again, that’s just how it looks. For all I know, all these games are incredible. They just sound crappy.

Out of the eight games released across WiiWare and DSiWare today, only two sound at all appealing, and both are on DSiWare. There’s that crazy sharks + Nintendogs game that Hamza fell in love with last week, and Soul of Darkness, a fairly attractive Castlevania rip-off. Probably going to buy both of them right now.

How about you? Plan on taking a chance on any of these games for your holiday? Maybe you should hit the jump for full descriptions of each game before you decide.
